This is a real treasure. Culpeper's first version of this publication was The Physicall Directory which was first published in 1649. Following on from this was the English Physitian, published in 1652. Here he describes the plants as well. Then in 1653 he published the London Dispensatory, followed by this copy, the enlarged edition of the College’s Pharmacopoeia Londinensis - a First Edition in this format. Gilt title on spine.
